First Rule Is: Pick a Team! ...or just be a ref if you hate both teams and you're scared to drink
If you choose a team...
- First Downs - 1 drink for the defensive team
- Penalties - 2 drinks for team commiting the penalty, even if the penalty is declined.
- Injury causing a time out - Team with the injury, finish your beer!
- Turnover - 3 drinks for the team that lost the ball
- Score - 4 drinks for team that DIDN'T score
- Missed Field Goal or Extra Point - 2 drinks for team that misses
- Sack - 2 drinks for team sacked
- Punt - 1 drink if your team punts
- Go for it on 4th down - 1 drink if your team goes for it and fails
- 2 Minute Warning - 5 drinks for team losing at each 2 minute warning. Both teams drink if the game is tied.
- Time Out - 1 drink for team taking time out
If you choose to be the ref...
- Penalties - 2 drinks for each penalty called
- Review Play - 4 drinks
- Overturned Call - Finish your beer!
beer pong
- Six Red or Blue "Party Cups" by Solo (or another cup company). Fill 1/3 of each cup with beer. Arrange cups in a pyramid. Three cups in the back, two in the middle row, one in the front, all tightly pushed together on either end of ping pong table or on two separate tables about 15 feet apart.
- Cup of warm water to dip the ball in, in the event that the ball picks up something unpleasant off of the floor.
- Singles or Doubles (same rules, if you're playing doubles partners rotate shots and drinks)
- Bounces off of anything count.
- Drinks occur right after the shot is made. You can't shoot back until you settle up your drink count.
asshole
- The aim is to get rid of all your cards as soon as possible. The last player left with cards is the asshole.
- Deal out all cards. Some players may get more cards than others. The player to dealer's left starts. Play a single card like a four or a set like three fives.
- The next player has to play the same or bigger. Take the single four example, the next player could play another single four, a single five, a single ... Take the three fives example, the next player could play three sixes, three sevens, ...
- If you can't play or don't want to then you can always pass, which means you take a sip of your drink and it becomes the next person's turn.
- If everyone passes and the turn returns to the person who played the showing card or set of cards then the asshole clears the cards and the person who's cards made it around the table without being played on gets to start a new round.
- If you play the same set, say a single four on a single four or a double queen on a double queen or ... the next player gets skipped and has to take a sip.
- If all four of one card are played in a row (starts with a set of four, single then single then single then single, double then double) it is a social and therefore everyone takes a sip.
- The first person to get rid of all their cards is the president. The president gets to make up a new rule that takes effect after the next hand is dealt. The new rule can't single out any one person.
- Keep track of the order of who goes out when as you can boss around the people who go out after you.
- The last person to go out is the asshole. Everyone can boss around the asshole. The asshole deals and clears the cards whenever a play makes it around the table.
